Back in Motion is dedicated to providing assessment and evidence-based conservative scoliosis and hyperkyphosis treatment personalized to you.
Our goal is to provide effective care for individuals with a variety of spinal disorders including scoliosis (adolescent & adult), hyperkyphosis, congenital problems and spinal degeneration. We service Nelson, BC and the surrounding areas.
Our approach to scoliosis treatment and management is based on the guidelines of the SOSORT which supports the combination of specific exercises and 3D custom bracing. We are a certified provider of ScoliBrace, a truly custom made 3D spinal brace for children, adolescents and adults with scoliosis.
Our Approach
It is our objective to provide the highest level of scoliosis management possible for both children and adults. We follow best bracing practices as outlined by the internationally recognized Society on Scoliosis Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Treatment (SOSORT). In addition we incorporate scoliosis specific exercises to support the spine and assist with bracing.
Our Team
Certified ScoliBrace Provider Dr. Lloyd is a chiropractor and the owner operator of Back in Motion. He has been in private practice since 1994. He has developed a specific interest in scoliosis and effective scoliosis management.
