The Wellness Doc of Birmingham is dedicated to providing assessment and evidence-based conservative scoliosis and hyperkyphosis treatment personalized to you.
We embrace the latest technology to treat scoliosis, degeneration, and kyphosis in children, adolescents and adults, using advanced 3D bracing and specific exercise protocols. Located in Birmingham, in the metro Detroit area, we are a certified provider of ScoliBrace, a truly custom made 3D spinal brace, and are one of the few providers all across Michigan utilizing this effective treatment for curvatures.
Our clinic also offers online/telemedicine visits to screen your child or yourself for curvatures that could progress or may currently causing pain.
Our Approach
We take a conservative approach using the latest research and technology with two goals in mind. The first is to reduce pain and the second is to correct and support the spine in order to avoid surgery and future progression of a curving spine.
Our Team
Our team is led by Dr Eric Duncan who has spent the last 18 years studying and treating spine related issues. After training in scoliosis treatments and bracing, he now offers solutions for scoliosis in children and adults in southeast Michigan.
